We had a wonderful holiday weekend. Colleen's mom and nephew Justin came up along with Dann's daughter Sarah. The day was filled with GREAT food and lots of laughs, over all a wonderful thanksgiving.

We entered Ethan in a Gap casting call for their next years advertisement and would love some help from you guys. he needs as many votes as possible to make it. Summer is almost over and winter is fast approaching, so we headed on down to the lake with some of our dear friends to enjoy some of the last warm days of summer.
Ethan had lots of fun time playing in the water, and with his buddies Caleb, Issac and Ellie.

We had a wonderful trip!! Seeing Ian's family was great and very past due. After staying with Ian's dad and his family, Chalene Shannon and Kai met us up there and we all drove to Tahoe. The car ride was wonderful no crying babies, no getting car sick, our camping trip was off to a great start. And then it happened, bed time. Ethan would go to sleep like normal but he would wake up and not go back to sleep. It was a long three nights. We ended up leaving a few days early. Other then the not sleeping at night the camping trip went great. Tahoe is a beautiful place and a GREAT vacation spot. As we start our four and a half hour trip home we are all happy and positive, and then it happens Ethan starts crying. We pull over to the side of the road and change him and nurse him, but nothing will console him, he cries the whole way home. We arrive at Ian's dad's home and all three of us crash, It was a very restful night :). The rest of our trip was spent at Ian's dad's house resting and enjoying being with family. We also got to go see pier 39 in San Fransisco with Ryan Chalene Kai and Shannon. We enjoyed ourselves imensly on this vacation. But all good thing must come to an end. So we hop on a plane and head home to Spokane. The plane ride went about as well as the first one. And that was the end of our vacation.
Traveling with a 6 month old is not for the weak willed!!! Getting to the airport and through security was all a piece of cake, I fed him right before we get on the plane and he falls asleep in my carrier, the world is a happy place. Then about 30 minutes into our 2 hour plane trip he wakes up and is playing and talking quite loudly. Thankfully there were about 5 other babies on the plane so the talking was not a problem. Then it hits him, my nap was very short and I am feeling cranky!!! I try to calm him down and get him to fall asleep, but no. Thankfully we are in the very back of the plane and I decide to stand by the stewardesses area, they were great they let me stay there as long as I needed. then the crying happened, and oh was there crying! I tried to bounce him and walk around my little 4x4 square, but he would have none of that. Then after about 45 minutes which seemed like eternity he calmed down and fell back asleep :) And we had a very peaceful ride after that. Now we are enjoying the wonderful company of Ian's dad and step mother and their wonderful kids. This is Ethan's first time meeting them and he is loving it! Chalene and Kai are going to meet us up here tomorrow and the boys will get a chance to rumble :-) (My money is on Ethan) and then Ian's grandpa and grandma will be meeting us up here as well. It will be great to get to see everyone again.
Monday we are planning on going up to Lake Taho where we will be spending some time with Coleen's side of the family. This is going to be a wonderful trip.
